Biography
Yang received his MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering and in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, and obtained dual BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Purdue University. He is interested in fundamental energy and water sciences and their real-world applications. Yang joined DRL in 2019, and since then his research has been focused on developing atmospheric water harvesting and desalination devices, understanding thermal transport in modern miniaturized electronics, and accelerating energy innovations using machine learning.
